I am going to Japan on a mysterious train ride adventure.
On Thursday morning, a group of about 10 people will meet at the Hachikō statue outside of Shibuya station in Tokyo. We’ll be following our friend Tynan on a train trip through the country for one week to see some of his favorite places in Japan. The agenda and route have been kept secret from all of us. All we can pack for one week of travel is a small backpack, because hiking is involved.
I’m excited. I have never done something like this.
After the train trip, I have a few days to explore in Tokyo. Any suggestions?
On Saturday 6 April 2013, Tynan and me and his friend Leo are doing a meetup / picnic in Yoyogi Park (details here). All are welcome. I’ll probably be leading a little museum tour afterwards.
