Recipe for My Weight Gainer Milk Shake
Here is why this blog is called Oats…- 10 oz skim milk
- 1/2 cup steel cut oat flour
- 1/4 cup whey protein isolate (vanilla flavor)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Microwave the milk for 1:30. Shake in the oats, then shake in the whey and olive oil. Drink. Add more skim milk to adjust the texture.
There are about 820 calories in that drink. A little less than half of the calories (340) come from oats. On a good day I can easily drink two of these - one in the morning, and another after my workout.
