I think everyone started to click and gel around 4pm. A few new friendships were made. THANK YOU to Zoya, Nora, Elsbeth, Hillary, Eric, Allison, Eric Arnold, and Matt for hanging out.
The big surprise for me today was Matt’s African black loose leaf tea. Eric liked the Chinese black (Keemun), Zoya and Eric Arnold liked the Assam CTC, Nora liked anything with caffeine (big shocker - you can guess that she’s a writer), and Matt was packing some cool green.
Next time I will offer less sampling diversity. Today we ended up brewing five or six different types. But three or four would be easier on the palette. Stay tuned!
