Unidentified Percolating Object

We are testing out new coffee machines at the office. I don’t know what was wrong with our old one. It had hot water, filters, and a carafe. The new one is about this size and glows blue while dispensing coffee. Coffee machines should never fall under the jurisdiction of IT.

LOL to “Coffee machines should never fall under the jurisdiction of IT.”

What I Make For Breakfast Every Morning

  • 1 whole sweet potato
  • 2 poached eggs
  • 1 cup black tea
  • 10 oz skim milk + 1 scoop whey protein

I microwave the potato for 5 minutes, and the eggs for 1:25.

I like this breakfast because it is quick, fills me up, there are lots of good carbs, and you can mix the tea into the milkshake for a latte.

mascarah:jeffbaum - “Diddy is not changing his name despite ALL the rumours going around we recorded this webisode last night on the topic”

This is like the best celebrity video blog I have ever seen. I love his monologue and the computer guy who clicks it off at the end.

Vova Galchenko is just one of the best that ever lived. It couldn’t be simpler. He can throw more things in the air and catch them in order. Penn Jillette as quoted in this awesome NYT piece on Vova

555

“555” pronounced ‘hahaha’ in Thai, is their version of the internet initialism term “LOL”

Is she crazy? Zach Klein at the gym today, regarding a passerby. I still laugh when I think about how he said it (tone, directiveness, etc). There is so much that can go unsaid… and then sometimes one little comment just strikes gold. I love those moments. They make me feel on and in sync with my friends.

Hello from Tokyo, Japan.

Ricky has reported his first update from Tokyo. I spoke with the American couple this weekend via telephone and got some key words… Crazy high heels, overwhelming kindness, jet lag, fish market, baseball game, and arcades. Stay tuned for more updates this week on Ricky and Annamarie’s trip to Japan.
