Thursday Night Recap
Wow. BIG UPS to Jonathan for a spectacular Thursday night… Car service, bottle service, and escort service (you dog!). We literally danced until 5:30am and met so many fun new people. I am so happy to live here now.
Juggling Tutor
Today I had the opportunity to get tutored by Sean Blue… he is the real deal. This man juggles seven balls (maybe nine) with ease. And he does great work with other props, like rings and pins. $60/hour if anyone is interested.
Honestly I am just going to explode when I can throw my five-ball with ease. It will make me so happy that my smile is going to eat my whole face and then become contagious and infect every part of my body. Watch out!
Two Types of Milk Protein
There are two types of milk protein supplement which I consume: Whey protein and Casein protein. Think about it like curds and whey… curds = casein
Whey protein is most quickly absorbed by the body. This is the best type of protein supplement for everyone to take, especially right after your workout. I consume three to five servings of whey protein per day. Each serving has about 120 calories and 24 grams of protein.
Casein protein sort of gels up in your stomach. Casein protein takes a while for your body to digest. When I am trying to gain muscle weight, I consume one serving of casein per day, and always before bed (so my body has protein to digest all night long). I only recommend casein protein for advanced training.
Other types of protein supplements include soy protein, hemp protein, and egg protein.
